Meet LE Latimore
I am a creative strategist, digital storyteller, and visual thinker based in Chicago, merging media, design, and narrative to craft work that educates, inspires, and resonates. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Digital Media & Storytelling at Loyola University Chicago (2024–2026), building on a foundation in Cinema and Media Studies and Africana Studies from Wellesley College (2020–2024). My education has sharpened my ability to analyze culture, communicate complex ideas, and translate research into compelling visual and narrative work.
I specialize in creating content at the intersection of creativity and social engagement. My professional experience spans marketing and communications for organizations like Illinois Prison Project and Loyola’s Institute for Racial Justice, where I developed social media campaigns, produced videos, and created narrative-driven content to engage audiences and amplify underrepresented voices. I also contributed to documentary research and production at A+E Networks, supporting story development, scripting, and on-set operations. These experiences have allowed me to combine strategy, research, and creativity to deliver meaningful, impactful work.
Beyond professional projects, I pursue personal work that explores identity, culture, and human experience. I am the creator of LE Does Things Magazine, a self-published beauty editorial blending brand storytelling with mental health awareness. My short films, including Sleepover, The Hand of God, and The Weight of the Cross, examine themes of grief, mentorship, faith, and personal growth, highlighting intimate storytelling and cinematic visuals. I also produce mental health documentaries like Depression Room, combining interviews, research, and immersive visuals to create empathetic, socially conscious narratives.
I am deeply committed to leveraging media to amplify underrepresented voices, foster connection, and explore cultural narratives that matter. My skills span social media strategy, content creation, design, project management, and digital storytelling, with a particular interest in data privacy and ethical communication. I approach every project with curiosity, rigor, and a dedication to creating work that is meaningful, visually striking, and culturally resonant.
Through my career and creative projects, I aim to demonstrate that media is not just for entertainment—it’s a powerful tool for empathy, education, and change.
